Introducing... The Shark Game

I dedicate my first blog post to the shark game.

Maybe, just maybe, this is ridiculous enough to catch on.

What is the shark game? Great question. It all starts with this drawing of a shark posted below.

The shark's name is Bruce. Once you have obtained a picture of Bruce you hide the picture anywhere where one of your friends may find it. When someone eventually finds it they will have no idea who put it there or how/when it got there. It is really entertaining to see your friend so confused as to why there is a shark picture among their things. Whether you tell your friend it was you who put the picture there or not... it's still hilarious. And the fun does not stop there.

You could place Bruce somewhere where a stranger would find it. In any public spot.

You could make multiple copies of Bruce and place him in multiple places for someone to find.

The Shark Game also makes a great roommate game. First off, you and all of your roommates would all know about Bruce. Then, someone would initially hide Bruce somewhere around the place you live. The person who finds Bruce would then hide Bruce again in a different spot and so on. It's like a game of Where's Waldo, except it's Where's Bruce. Examples of where to hide Bruce: tape him to the ceiling, inside shoes/gloves, in backpacks, under pillows, in the freezer, ....anywhere!

Who knows maybe Bruce would even make a good photo bomber.

The Shark Game is all about being creative.

Note: It's not like anyone will get mad at you for placing something random among their things. It's not like you're taking anything from them. (Please don't take anything from them this is supposed to be a fun GAME!) And if someone gets mad that they found a shark picture among their things they need to seriously lighten up. It's just a drawing of a shark!

On another note, I also love the drawing of Bruce because it's just a simple drawing. (I did not draw it, my roommate did). It's not an elaborate piece of artwork. Anyone could sit down and draw an average picture of a shark if they felt like it.

Anyone who is up for some light hearted fun will love this! This is a great game because you could play it at any time as long as you have a picture of Bruce. We all look for things that entertain us on a day to day basis. It's not everyday of your life that you go through a significant life event. So sometimes it's the small things that can make your day on any average day.

That's the beauty of the Shark Game. The possibilities of what you could do with a simple shark drawing to entertain yourself/someone else.....are ENDLESS.
